Experienced Realtor and longtime Iowa City resident Phoebe Martin has joined BLANK & McCUNE, The Real Estate Company in downtown Iowa City.
Blank & McCune is thrilled to have the 2018 and 2019 “Most Trusted Realtor” in the Crandic at the brokerage.
After graduating from Iowa City High School and traveling internationally, Phoebe found her way to Chicago where she furthered her education and worked for many years as the Program Coordinator at the Cabrini Green Tutoring Program and then as Education Director of the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Foundation.
When she returned to Iowa City she married Andy Martin and they started Martin Construction, focusing on remodels, repairs and additions. They are active members of the Home Builders Association (HBA), where she has co-chaired the Women’s Council, raising money for scholarships for area high school students looking to continue their education related to the housing industry.
Phoebe and Andy have two children, Dexter and Isaak. Phoebe enjoys working with youth, and she continues to give back to the community that generously supports both of her businesses. She has served on various nonprofit and city boards and committees, and she started a networking group for local women business owners.
Blank & McCune’s four owners, Terri Morrow, Alan Swanson, Tim Conroy, and Leslie Fitzpatrick, are delighted that Phoebe and her licensed professional assistant, Allison Hall, are joining the firm. Designated broker Terri Morrow said “Phoebe’s record of achievement, strong client relationships, community involvement and support, plus her affinity for the arts, align well with Blank & McCune’s successful business model.”
