Ticket & Stadium Info
Current students are eligible to purchase season tickets to the seven home games for $150, which is a considerable savings off the standard season ticket price of $415.
Hawkeye Stadium provides another unique season pass option for $260. If you want great seats without battling the crowds, you can opt for a mobile version that offers you a different seat with its own unique perspective for each of the seven home games.
Providing an option to suit every pocketbook and schedule, the Hawkeyes have also created a 3-Game Season Ticket. Depending on which games you choose, each set of tickets will run you $175 or $195.
Some die-hard fans prefer to cheer on their beloved Hawkeyes one game at a time. If you are only able to attend one or two, your seat prices are $25 for those 18 and younger. Adult pricing begins at $50.
Stadium
A $90 million renovation of Kinnick Stadium was completed just before the 2006 season opener. Seating was increased to 70,585, and they routinely sell out. In fact, the Hawkeyes “annually rank among the top 25 schools in the nation in home attendance.”
Parking for Kinnick Stadium
Check out the Hawkeye Gameday Sports page and for the most current info on road closures, open parking structures, RV and bus parking, and shuttles. You may purchase a single-game parking pass for $20 in advance or $25 game day. A season ticket parking permit is another option for $100. ADA accommodations are also provided. For real-time traffic updates, download waze.com/.
The Iowa Northern Railway Company’s own Hawkeye Express offers a unique experience for fans wanting carefree travel from Coralville to Kinnick Stadium. The railway provides the option of arriving at the stadium by Pullman car.
Begin your journey up to three hours before kickoff. As the game winds down, you may want to head home at the beginning of the fourth quarter or up to 90 minutes after the game.
Round-trip tickets are $15 for adults, and children 12 and younger ride free. It’s a value when you want to save the headache of traffic and parking. Parking is free in any of the six parking lots near Coral Ridge Mall and the Black and Gold Shops along Highway 6. Start the game right with an enjoyable eight-minute ride.
Contact the UI Athletics Ticket Office at 1-800-IA-HAWKS weekdays from 9-4 for specific questions. You may also find more detailed information on UI’s Game Day Transportation, Traffic & Parking Information page.
